| Seller Guidelines Used Books for Sale Seller Guidelines
These seller guidelines are intended to help you create a sale page on Resources 4 Homeschoolers Used Homeschool Books for Sale section. 1. Be honest in your descriptions. 2. Post your final price, book condition code and title in the title box. 3. Use these codes for the condition VG = Very Good Condition G= Good Condition LN= Like New P=Poor Condition but Usable AVE=Not great condition but better than poor condition In addition to the code, in your text about the book, describe the condition and any other important condition information. 4. Include shipping and handling cost in your asking price....please don't add that shipping is extra. Add what you consider to be a fair price to your price. You can break this down to clarify, if you wish in the text by saying something like....'My asking price is $4 and I added $2 shipping charges to get the total price of $6.' If you ask a fair price this will not be an issue. If you try to gouge on shipping to make a buck, people will know. 5. You will be receiving response comments to your post in your email. In order for you to get these emails you have to check the box when filling out the form agreeing to receive emails. 6. Reply promptly to the emails you receive about your post. Be respectful. 7. If there is a legitimate dispute, know that I review and approve all comments and responses before they go on my site. I expect in the case of a dispute that both parties involved make attempts to resolve the issue before posting online anything negative. Before it is approved to the site I will want to know that attempts were made to resolve the issue. 8. Ship quickly or contact customer with expected shipping date and arrival. 9. Be clear about acceptable payment methods. Do not just say Paypal accepted. Say Paypal CC or Paypal Non Credit card only, or something to that effect. 10. The Title Box should include: - Name of Book i.e. Saxon Math K
- Condition Code i.e. VG
- Total Asking Price (Meaning price + shipping)
I will not approve the listing if the above items are not included. 11. Your Text or Description should include: - Name of Book i.e. Saxon Math K
- Condition of book details
- Total Asking Price (Meaning price + shipping)
- Clear Acceptable Payment Methods
- A mini review from your standpoint about the book-what you liked, didn't like, problems, struggles. The more you share, the more people will trust you as a seller, as long as you are honest. Don't be gushy about the book/curriculum unless you mean it. Open up a discussion about the curriculum in general.
12. Whitelist Resources 4 Homeschoolers. You don't want to miss emails from prospective buyers. You can also, check back to see if there are any posts online at the website page assigned to you. You will get that information after I approve your post. 13. Post only once per book. 14. When it is sold please send a comment from your page indicating that it is sold. As these come through I will be marking them sold from the main search page. This simple step will save everyone time! Please don't forget to do this. 15.
